Terms of use

Rose Tinted Roads is a ride-discovery service. Use it lawfully and considerately. Don't attempt to break, scrape or overload the service, and don't upload anything you don't have the right to share.

Rides are suggestions, not instructions. Roads change, surfaces deteriorate, weather turns and conditions vary. Always ride within the law, within your ability and within the conditions on the day. Speed limits and road signs always take priority over anything on this site.

We don't provide turn-by-turn navigation. Maps and GPX files are provided for planning; check your own route before setting off. To the extent the law allows, we accept no liability for loss or injury arising from riding a route found here.

Submissions are reviewed by a curator before anything is published — nothing you send goes live automatically. We may edit, re-score or decline a submission.

By submitting a road, photos or descriptions you confirm the content is yours to share and you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to publish it on Rose Tinted Roads with credit where you've given a name. You can ask us to remove your contribution at any time.

Keep your login details to yourself. You can delete your account and data at any time from your profile page. We may suspend accounts that abuse the service.
